Advancing global missions through the design, integration, and accreditation of specialized secure environments
USIDC is a HUBZone-certified small business specializing in secure facility construction and integration. We design, modernize, and sustain SCIFs, SAPFs, BDOCs, and other mission-critical spaces for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Our multidisciplinary approach blends architecture, engineering, and electronic security systems (ESS) under one roof — ensuring compliance, reliability, and aesthetic quality.
Core Competencies
SCIF / SAPF Design-Build
ICD 705 and CNSSI 7003-compliant architectural, mechanical, and electrical design and construction.
Integrated SCIF Entry Systems
Bundled STC/RF door assemblies with IDS/ACS devices — engineered, installed, and certified as one solution.
Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
Honeywell Vindicator-authorized integration of IDS/ACS platforms, cabling, and field devices.
STC, RF, and Ballistic Assemblies
Factory-rated systems tested to MIL-STD-285, IEEE-299, and UL 752.
Mission-Critical Sustainment
Long-term O&M and modernization support for secure environments worldwide.
Differentiators
Accreditation-Driven Design: All projects align with ICD 705, CNSSI 7003, and NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5.
Authorized Partnerships: Honeywell Vindicator and Krieger Specialty Products integrator.
Single-Source Responsibility: Design, installation, and testing performed in-house for seamless compliance.
Aesthetics + Security: Veneer and painted finishes available for all STC/RF-rated assemblies — combining compliance with visual excellence.
HUBZone Advantage: Eligible for set-aside and sole-source opportunities.
USIDC
Signature Solution
Integrated SCIF Entry Systems
Your SCIF entry is more than a physical security barrier — it’s a statement of mission readiness, engineering precision, and design quality. It’s the first impression for visitors, inspectors, and commanders entering a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), setting the tone for everything inside.
Many secure facilities still rely on aging STC/RF-rated doors and legacy intrusion detection (IDS) and access control (ACS) hardware that no longer meet ICD 705 Technical Specifications, CNSSI 7003 shielding continuity, or NIST SP 800-53 control requirements. These mismatched systems create inspection risk, degrade acoustic and RF performance, and compromise the professional aesthetic expected in modern mission environments.
USIDC’s Integrated SCIF Entry System solves these issues through a turnkey, design-build integration package that unifies door assembly, IDS/ACS hardware, and accreditation documentation under one contract — enhancing security, performance, and visual impact while simplifying compliance.
A Complete Turnkey Package
Each USIDC SCIF Entry System is delivered as a cohesive, pre-engineered solution that includes:
- STC- and RF-rated door assemblies by Krieger, tested to MIL-STD-285 / IEEE-299 (≥ 60 dB @ 10 MHz / ≥ 50 dB @ 1 GHz; STC 45–55).
- Factory-fit frames, gasketing, and hardware maintaining continuous shielding and acoustic integrity.
- Integrated IDS/ACS components — Honeywell Vindicator balanced magnetic switches (HSS), REX sensors, card readers, keypads, tamper switches, and GSA-approved locks installed by certified integrators.
- Design and engineering documentation — ICD 705 submittals, NIST SP 800-53 PE-3/PE-6/PE-19 control mapping, and as-built certifications.
- On-site removal and replacement performed under escort in accordance with security protocols.
- Optional architectural finishes — veneer, painted steel, or powder-coated surfaces to match facility aesthetics.
How It Reduces Accreditation Risk
- Single-source responsibility – One integrator manages design, fabrication, and installation, eliminating coordination gaps that often lead to inspection findings.
- Verified shielding and STC performance – Factory test data and field continuity checks simplify AO/SSO validation.
- Compliance documentation – Each package includes traceable references to ICD 705, CNSSI 7003, and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
- Lifecycle sustainment – All components are sourced from the Air Force ANL-approved IDS/ACS list or equivalent, minimizing re-accreditation risk.
- Professional presentation – Modern, acoustically sealed, RF-tight entries project professionalism and mission assurance at the most visible point of the SCIF.
